ALEXANDRA MAY McKINLEY THOMPSON

With 9 years’ experience working in the art department for Film, Television, Commercials. Alex specializes in stand by work and scenic painting.

 

Of English and Irish decent but was born in Luxembourg and grew up in Brussels. Alex has had a very multicultural upbringing which inspired her design eye, from being around the famous cartoons of belgium and the beautiful art nouveau architecture that it has to offer. She then embarked on a formal film education at the the Arts University Bournemouth in the UK, where she specialised in the art department. 

 

She has carried on forming a career in the art department doing regular dailies for channel 4's flagship soap 'Hollyoaks'. While also keeping her creative streak alive building sets for events.
